I love this quote by Alan Alda: “Be bold. When you embark for strange places, don’t leave any of yourself safe on the shore. Have the nerve to go into unexplored territory.” Stepping into the world of one handedness is a strange place. We don’t often see on a daily basis others that are dealing with our issues. But the only way we learn is to step forward and embark on a journey of discovering how you can optimize this new physical change.
It’s always difficult to take that first step. The reality is no one really knows the outcome unless we get going. You won’t know how well you can cope with one handedness until you start trying new ways of navigating daily tasks.
My perspective: “You need to step out and step up to the challenges inherent in embarking. The view is awesome and worth the effort.” Join me.
